PowerGirl Ministries seeks to encourage, inspire, and validate young urban women to help them make wise and healthy choices in their lives. We promote a lifestyle of excellence in Christ.
PowerGirl & Dunamis Ministries provides much needed health and whole life wellness information to young women & men in three age categories, middle school, high school and college & career. This division of Disciples In Action: Los Angeles connects young urban women & men with the information and tools they need to be successful in life. Participation in our activities is open to any duly referred and accepted young woman within these age categories without regard to race or religion.
Many of our community's students are falling behind academically because of the education delivery changes in response to the pandemic. With these additional obstacles to learning, our students could greatly benefit from experiences that boost their internal motivation to do well in school. Given the new, challenging and ever changing constraints to activities this ministry strives to be in compliance with LA County COVID-19 protocols & guidelines for all activities. Parents and Guardians are required to sign permission slips for each off campus event.
